Produced with 50% Touriga Nacional and 50% Tinta Roriz grape varieties, at an average altitude of 200m.
Hand Picked, fermented in a open granite stone lagar. Ages for 18 months in French and Hungarian oak barrels. Cellared for at least six months in the bottle.
Intense deep ruby colour. In the nose it is very elegant with notes of complex ripe fruit, flowers and spices, well blend with the toast of the oaks used. In the mouth is very round with good volume in the mouth, full taste and freshness. The strong tannins make for a very long and delicate end of mouth. An Amazing Douro Red!
Drink at 16 Celsius Degrees.
Open 1.5 hours before drinking.
Pair with a well seasoned meat plates or medium strong cheeses or cured ham and chorizo.
