Single Estate White Dao Wine, produced from 60% Encruzado and 40% Gouveio grape varieties. This two grape varieties have fantastic ageing potential and this, allied to their natural acidity which ensure that this wine will enjoy a long and fruitful life!
10% of the Encruzado is fermented in wood and it matures for 6 months in 225L oak barrels. 90% of this wine is fermented and matured in stainless steel vats.
Clear and bright with citrine yellow tones and a greenish tint. Aromatically expressive with prominent notes of ripe yellow-pulped fruit and hints of flowers. Soft touches of ripe tropical fruit. Excellent volume on the palate and balanced by a well integrated natural acidity. A harmonious and gastronomic finish.
Drink in between 9 to 11 Celsius Degrees.
Ideal to drink on its own as an aperitif or to accompany sophisticated fish dishes, smoked fish, white meat or poultry.
