Produced from Trincadeira Aragonez and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties, fermented in 5000L French oak vats (Seguin Moreau), not filtered and then ages during 18 months in French oak barrels of 225L.
Garnet ruby intense colour. In the nose we find black fruit jam somewhat herbal, oak, spices and tobacco notes complemented by dark chocolate. In the mouth plenty of personality, complexity, full body, dense with plenty of matured fruitiness, but also plenty of elegance well integrated oak flavors, excellent structure, smooth tannins, complexity and a long finish. Excellence!
Drink now or cellar up to 2025.
Drink at 17 Celsius and open 2 hours before drinking. Perfect with a roasted Lamb with herbs hunt plates or stronger cheeses and smoked sausages.
