Hand-harvest at their best moment the grapes are destemmed crushed and vinified in a careful maceration with extraction of colour tannins and aromas of the pellicles complemented by permanent pumping-over during fermentation. This process takes place in vats at a controlled temperature between 28-30 Celsius until reaching the desired Baume. At this phase grape brandy is added (benefit) originating a fortified wine. A wine of an exceptional quality from a single harvest bottled between the fourth and sixth year after the harvest.

This Late Bottled Vintage 2017 has a unique personality. It was made from this Single Estate best grapes, with a traditional and slowly vinification. The wine was aged in tanks for the first 24 months and then in old wood casks until bottling at the 4th year.
It is an intense, ripe and full-bodied wine, and a positive ageing in the bottle is predictable for a several years after bottling, with the wine acquiring a character of its own.
It is intense in colour, with a bouquet of ripe grapes and forest berries. Elegant, fruity and full body on the palate.
