Quinta Romaneira 2005 Vintage Port Wine 750ml

Vintage is the highest quality of Port Wine there is represents only 1 to 2% of the whole production. Ages 2 years in French oak barrels of 500L and once bottle keeps ageing inside the bottle.

2005 was a really warm and dry year, so there was less production, but-nbsp;very concentrated grapes, so quite big wines!-nbsp;

Single Estate Vintage Port Wine, around 4.500 bottles were produced of this remarkable Vintage. Amazing to Enjoy from now, but Still plenty of Ageing Potential!

Deep Dark ruby colour. A wild nose with concentrated matured fruitiness. In the mouth it is very powerful, deep, intense, sweet to almost medium sweet, complex, firm tannins, elegance, plenty of ripe wild fruits, quite long and impressive finish. Exceptional Value!

Dark Ruby colour port wine perfect to enjoy with a sheeps milk cheese and crackers or a wonderful roasted lamb.
