Single Estate Douro Red Wine from Quinta Ventozelo, produced exclusively from Syrah grape variety, placed in altitude and exposed to extreme thermal amplitude. Matures 8 months in metal Vats.
Handpicked grapes, during the month of September, with a careful selection of bunches. After a careful selection in the vineyards, the bunches were hand-sorted and destemed at the winery, with a final berry-to-berry sorting process using an optical machine. The vinification took place in lagars with pre-fermentative maceration and dynamic temperature control.
Beautiful Ruby Red Colour. In the nose intensity of ripe red fruit, light notes of jam and spices. In the mouth it is voluminous but very elegant, round, smooth fine tannins with high quality of ripe fruit, very nice acidity, dry with an elegant fruity finish. A Very Good Syrah!
Drink at 16 to 17 Celsius Degrees.
Drink up to 2031, will evolve well in the bottle.
Harmonizes perfectly with grilled meat plates.
