Piano Red Wine 2016 - Douro - 750ml

Single Estate Limited Production Red Wine from the Douro Area...class A grapes from the Superior Douro!

2015 is an Extraordinary Years production!...close to 2011.

Produced with 50% Tinta Roriz, 20% Touriga Nacional, 15% Tinta Barroca and 15% Tinta Roriz grape varieties.

Ages for at least 9 months in French oak barrels. 3 extra months of cellaring, before comming out into to the market.

Deep Red Ruby Colour. In the nose it is very complex and Intense with notes of black currants, strawberries, ripe plums and orange flower hints. In the mouth it is intense, plenty of volume, perfect acidity, quality tannins, plenty of red matured fruit and complexity, finishes quite long and complex! A very Good Douro wine!

Drink at 17 Celsius. Open 1h1/2 before drinking.

Drink with strong cheeses, smoked ham, Chorizo or roasted Lamb meat.

Ageing Potential: till 2025.
