Valriz 20 Year Old Tawny Port Wine 750ml

A delicious 20 year old port wine produced by this small and traditional family company.

Produced with Tinta Amarela Tinta Roriz e Touriga Franca grape varieties it ages through an oxidative process of ageing in chestnut barrels for at least twenty years.

Red light golden colour. In the nose, good quality wood, oxidative flavours of the ageing process, noble (esters and aldehydes) with vanilla and light hazelnut In the mouth, it is sweet and balanced and very long. Very Delicious!

Drink at 17 to 18 celsius degrees.
Swirl before drinking to release the delicious nose flavours.

Perfect with Dark Chocolate or with some quality dry nuts or for rich desserts.
