Ever since 1884 Borges has been eager to take up the challenge of producing wines of outstanding quality. The noble character of this Vintage follows a tradition which began at 1904, the time when the founders of Borges acquired Quinta da Soalheira.

Produced from Touriga Nacional,  Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela and Sousao grape varieties.

Deep dark ruby colour. Very intense in the nose, with the presence of black fruits such as blackberries and ripe black plums. It has a floral nose with notes of violets and a fresh and resinous sensation reminiscent of mint and eucalyptus. Produced with very mature grapes, which is clearly revealed by the complexity of the aromas. In the mouth we are able to find a balanced attack between sweetness and acidity, the flavours reveal the aromatic sensations in a perfect way. Very full-bodied mouth with structure, soft tannins and a very persistent prolonged finish.
